According to the Faraday’s Law, an EMF is induced in the loop due to the varying magnetic field. The magnet rotates at a certain speed, and this speed is known as the synchronous speed. When the electric current passes through the winding a rotating magnetic field is produced, which makes the rotor to turn.
The winding moves through the stator slots, which is made using thin and permeable steel laminations. The stator features a three coil winding and a three-phase power input is given to it. For instance, the stator is the stationary part and the rotor is the rotating part. These parts are named on the basis of their rotation.
It is made of two main parts – a stator and a rotor. Induction motor is the most common type of industrial motor used in the world.
